Yeah, this is a long time coming. DJ deserves as much of the blame, if not more. Makes me glad I don't have a TV.
In truth, pretty much all of the Chicago baseball anouncers are rubbish. Pat and Ron are equally annoying as Hawk and DeeJay, but for different reasons.

I'm tired of Ron Santo and have been for a while. Pat Hughes, however, is an excellent radio play-by-play guy.

He's not a good color analyst. I like him as a mascot, because that's what he is. But as far as adding insight to a game, he's terrible.

Of course he sucks as a color analyst but that's part of his charm. Listen to Hughes for the info, listen to Santo for the unintentional humor.
